Primetime Cable Ratings: October 23, 2016

THE WALKING DEAD pulls its second best rating ever, with the season 7 premiere of the hit AMC series. Over 17 million viewers and a 8.4 rating in Adults 18-49, tuned into the much anticipated episode. TWD out rated SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, by 40%, in the A18-49 demographic. The episode fell short of the season 5 opener, which drew 7.3 million viewers and a 8.7 demo.
