Love Rain tells the tragic love story of the past and how the present changes it into happily ever after. Love Rain is the tale of the children of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, that managed to meet and fall in love. Ian Seo (Jang Geun Suk) and Judy Kim (Yoona) met and fell in love during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was not meant to be. Now in the present 21st century, Ian’s son, Jun Seo (Jang Geun Suk) meets and falls in with Judy’s daughter, Hannah Kim (Yoona).
