Villains are evil, whether they are animated or portrayed by real actors. They may not actually kill anyone, or carry out terrorist attacks, in animated movies. However, those bad guys are always more likeable, due to the fact that cartoons are usually meant for younger audiences. And if you take a studio like Disney, villains are often pretty hunky, compared to a less attractive protagonist.
