They say "the show must go on," but sometimes it really doesn't

A couple of days ago, Jason Statham signed a deal to recreate his character in the sequel to the 2011 film The Mechanic. Wonderful, right? That, however, cost him one of the franchises for which he is well known, which is The Transporter. Luc Besson has planned to develop not one, but three more instalments to his action series, and it will be a reboot. This is where Statham draws the line.

Not to offend anyone's work, but The Transporter is getting cornier and more perposterous with every other series. Plus, Jason is finally getting to more serious roles... he's evolving in a manner of speaking. Yay!

So who will take on Statham's legacy? Read on to find out...

Ed Skrein (“Game of Thrones”) is to succeed Jason Statham in the reboot of EuropaCorp’s “Transporter” franchise.

Although plot details are still kept under wraps, Lambert said the first installment of “Transporter” reboot will return to the French Riviera, site of the first pic. He said the writers have given more depth to the character of Frank Martin, whose job is to transport goods and ask no questions. For instance, the movie will explore Martin’s relationship with his father, whose role will be played by a prominent thesp.

Somehow, I don't see him as the action hero type, especially with that long hair from Game of Thrones. What do you think?
