Chris Pine Arrested for DUI in New Zealand

Here is something I never thought could happen. Star Trek star Chris Pine has been arrested for driving wasted in New Zealand. How could he!? He's a Captain of the USS Enterprise, for Pete's sake!

Also, driving back home in America is one thing, and winging it in New Zealand - where they drive on the opposite side of the road - is a whole new game. I don't know what Pine drank, or how much, but it must have been pretty strong for him to pull off a "Captain Kirk."

According to local sources, the 33-year-old actor was caught driving drunk in the early hours of March 1, after celebrating with other cast members at a wrap party in the New Zealand town of Methven.

"Chris Pine arrived here and had his girlfriend [Iris Bjork Johannesdottir] with him and he spent most of his time with her -- she flew in that day someone told me,'' bar manager Casey Crawford told the Herald.

Crawford added that there were designated drivers at the party and he was surprised to hear that Pine had driven himself.
