Matthew McConaughey on How He Came Up with His Catchphrase

Matthew McConaughey is all style. You can't help but fall in love with the Texan's Southern accent and undeniable charm. When McConaughey speaks, it's music to my ears. He could literally say anything - like reading a muffins recipe - and make it sound cool.



If you recall this year's Golden Globe Awards, one of the best acceptance speeches was delivered by none other than McConaughey. He won the prize for his role in Dallas Buyers Club, but came to collect his trophy unprepared. First thing he said was "Alright, alright, alright!"



The phrase may not carry a deep meaning, but the way he told it was classic McConaughey. Here is Matthew revealing the origins of the triple "alright:"
