When Emery Whitehill was 6, she met Roman a 6 year old Atrian boy who had crash landed in a alien spacecraft. After been taken away by the authorities. 10 years later, the two are reunited as a social experiment enrolls the first group of Atrian teens into high schools to see if humans and Atrians can live in peace. Loyalties from both sides are tested with distrust rife between some humans and Atrians alike.
