Marvel strikes back ...



After a failed attempt to create an Avengers spin-off to keep us excited until the sequel comes out, Marvel will have to pray Captain America: The Winter Soldier doesn't suck, because it will seriously ruin our expectations.



By the way, I wasn't all that impressed with Thor: The Dark World either. The movie kicked off with an interesting idea, but its villain - Malekith - was very, very underused. I had prepared for epic battles between Thor and the Dark Elves, but Marvel didn't deliver.



Speaking of Thor, Chris Hemsworth guarantees that The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be bigger and crazier than its predecessor. Let's hope the God of Thunder tells the truth...

emsworth appeared at Wizard World Comic Con in Sacramento last weekend (via Comic Book Movie) and participated in a Q&A session with fans. Someone asked if Thor would get more chance to shine in the sequel than in the first movie.

"I hope so," he said with a laugh. "Everything in [Age of Ultron] is ramped up though. It kind of blew me away reading [the script]. I don't know how Joss [Whedon] does it, but everyone has gone up another notch and the whole thing is bigger and more exciting and crazier. Yeah, he's a genius."
