Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 05/06/14

The two FXO comedies series had their season finales on Tuesday night, drawing just 2.5 million viewers for the 9 p.m. hour. But, the combination of NEW GIRL and THE MINDY PROJECT did beat the ABC comedies, in the A18-49 ratings, 1.3 to 1.0, during the hour. They also came close to topping the two NBC comedies, which they may still do, once the final ratings are released later today. This is the best ratings for THE MINDY PROJECT, since it's return, on April 1st.
