US Box Office Results: March 13 - 15, 2015

It was a spectacular movie weekend for Disney as the new, Live action theatrical of CINDERELLA easily topped the box office with over $70 million, in its first three days. That is slightly better than last year's MALIFICENT brought in $69 million for its opening weekend. CINDERELLA is second on the list of Disney's live action remakes of the classic animated movies, behind ALICE IN WONDERLAND (2010), which brought in a staggering $116 million.
