Primetime Cable Ratings: July 18, 2016

It is the Republican National Convention this week, and the events kicked off on Monday. That pushed FOX NEWS to be the #1 network of the night, taking the top three spots of the evening. The network averaged 5.5 million viewers and a solid 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. CNN did slightly better in the A18-49 demo, posting a 0.8 rating for the night, but its total viewership average was just 3.6 million. MSNBC was a distant third in its coverage of the RNC, averaging less than two million viewers and a 0.2 rating in the demo.
