Primetime Cable Ratings: September 2, 2016

Since the two political national conventions, back in July, MSNBC has been red hot. It has already started drawing more viewers than rival CNN, and now is gunning for FOX News. The RACHEL MADDOW SHOW (#3) drew 1.7 million viewers, on a Friday night, the start of a holiday weekend. That is just 150,000 viewers behind THE KELLY FILE, going head-to-head in the same time period.
