
NBC gave FOX a bit of a challenge for Wednesday dominance, with back-to-back Christmas specials. The annual CHRISTMAS AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER drew a robust 10.5 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. It was second in the demos, during the 8 PM hour and was up 2.5 million viewers, from last year's event. That lead into the original movie, CHRISTMAS OF MANY COLORS, a follow up from last years hit movie, COAT OF MANY COLORS. The 2016 movie drew 11.5 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. It was the night's most watched program, but was down 1.5 million viewers fro the 2015 film.
