Did Vin Diesel Just Reveal His Marvel Role?

Is there anything Vin Diesel can't pull off?



If you haven't heard about this, Vin Diesel was contacted by Marvel back in June for a "secret" meeting. It was speculated that the company wanted to negotiate with the Fast & Furious star about either The Avengers: Age of Ultron or Guardians of the Galaxy.



Vin wasn't allowed to reveal the details of his trip to Marvel headquarters directly, but that doesn't mean he won't find any loopholes to leak some info to his fans. And he did!



Diesel posted a photo of Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy to his Facebook page yesterday. That's the talking tree for those of you who don't know. See the image below and read Groot's short biography right after!

His Divine Majesty King Groot the 23rd, Monarch of Planet X, custodian of the branch worlds, ruler of all the shades, flora colossus.

Groot is an alien known by the Kree as a Floral Colossus, though this species was once thought extinct. He was first seen when he landed on Earth and threatened humanity as one of the Marvel Monsters in the Marvel Age of Monsters. He was however soon defeated by a clever human witch caused Groot to flee Earth once more. He was not heard from for many years after his initial encounter with humanity. [via Comic Vine]
