PETER PAN Movie Casts Hugh Jackman and Garrett Hedlund as Pirates

Here goes my obsession with pirates again...



Entertainmentwise reports that Hugh Jackman and Garrett Hedlund have joined Joe Wright's (Atonement) upcoming Peter Pan movie. Actually, only Jackman is confirmed, but Hedlund would have to be stupid to reject the offer. The Australian actor is set to play the infamous pirate Blackbeard, whereas the TRON: Legacy star is reportedly being considered for the role of Captain Hook.

In a statement, Warner Bros. Pictures Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution president Sue Kroll said: “There is a reason that Hugh is known and loved the world over. He is uncompromising in his dedication to every role, and we are all thrilled to be working with him again.”
