There has always been this perception that MAD MEN is a hit cable TV series, however, the the opposite is more in line with the truth. The season premiere of the final season of the AMC drama drew just 2.3 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in Adults 18-49. Now, those are not horrible numbers, but they re lo NOT the numbers of a "Hit" TV series. This was the worst rated season premiere of the series, since season two.
