CLIFFHANGER Remake in the Works

I am certain many people would agree with me that Sylvester Stallone's classic Cliffhanger should never be re-made. Unfortunately, they are doing it anyway. Metro UK reports that the producers behind Fast & Furious are going to work on the reboot.



In the meantime, I highly recommend younger generations go see the original!

That’s right, the 1993 action thriller, which saw the man himself dangling off all manner of precarious looking mountains, is the latest movie of the era to be dusted down and given a 21st Century makeover.

The ‘reimagining’ of the film will come courtesy of the Fast and Furious franchise producer Neal Moritz, with remake rights originally being snapped up in 2010.

However the project is now moving forward after a screenwriter by the name of Joe Gazzam being snapped up to write the script after he impressed execs with his ideas for an all-new version.

Other details however remain sketchy, with no casting yet confirmed.
