Kickboxer remake producers are promising that the new version will be "very special" and it's stars are going to make it an "amazing franchise." However, nostalgic fans like me seriously doubt that they will ever top the cult classic of the 1980s, especially with such "actors" (no offence meant by the quotes) like WWE's Dave Bautista and UFC's George St. Pirre.
Hey, at least GSP and Batista are going to bring some epic fight scenes...

WWE star Dave Bautista and UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre are stepping into the ring for Kickboxer.
Kickboxer also has signed stuntman and martial artist Alain Moussi as its lead. Moussi has worked in a number of Hollywood event films, including Fox's upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. His credits include Pacific Rim and White House Down.
"Alain is a star and will be an amazing leading man," said Field. "Like Vin [Diesel] in Riddick, Alain will make this movie very special, and this Kickboxer will be the start of an amazing franchise."
