Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 05/21/14

The final night of the 2013-14 season saw a deflated AMERICAN IDOL win the night, in both total viewers (10.1 million) and in the A18-49 ratings (2.6). The singing competition series gave it's best rated night in nearly two and a half months. The winner of the season was rocker Caleb Johnson, who sounded great with KISS as his backing band. Even Harry Connick Jr. loved it!
