Nathan Fillion to Make Cameo In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Castle's Nathan Fillion is expected to make a "very small fun cameo" in Guardians of the Galaxy, Zap2It confirms. Earlier reports suggested that Fillion would play a friend of Chris Pratt's Star-Lord. However, director James Gunn dismisses those rumors.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" already boasts a stellar cast, anchored by Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper. Now you can add one more to the list in the form of "Castle" star Nathan Fillion.

But the reports of him playing Nova, a frequent ally of Pratt's Star-Lord, are "greatly exaggerated," writes director James Gunn on Twitter. But he does confirm that Fillion "has a very small fun cameo he did as a favor to me." The two previously worked together on "Super" and "Slither."
