Final Broadcast Ratings: August 3, 2014

With the NFL kicking off its 'exhibition' season, NBC swept the ratings on Sunday night. The annual HALL OF FAME GAME drew 8.5 million viewers and a 2.8 rating in Adults 18-49, in the preliminary reports. That is dramatically down from last year's 10.4 million viewers and a 3.8 demo rating.Fans are hyped for NFL football by early august, but when it comes down to watching the first preseason game, they realize it is the worst game of the year.
