US Box Office Results: December 26 - 28, 2014

The Christmas weekend at the box office produced four movies that grossed over $20 million, lead by the third HOBBIT movie, with over $41 million. The Peter Jackson film easily held off new movies UNBROKEN and INTO THE WOODS, topping them by $10 million. Both new movies added over $15 million, on Christmas day, topping THE HOBBIT's $13 million.
