Preliminary Ratings: Thursday 01/08/15

Night two of the AMERICAN IDOL premiere helped lead FOX to a sweep in the ratings, for Thursday night. The two hour episode hauled in 11.0 million viewers and a 3.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is mostly even with the previous night's one hour episodes. The ratings infusion will be a much needed boost for FOX, which has had a hard, hard fall in the ratings.
