US Box Office Results: January 9 - 11, 2015

Audiences came back out for the third installment of the TAKEN franchise, this time taking over $40 million, in its first weekend. Compared to the second film, TAKEN 3 is down about 20%, or just over nine million dollars. That 2012 film grossed just shy of $140 million, domestically. For Liam Neeson, TAKEN 3 more than tripled the opening take by his last film, A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES, released back in September.
