The NFL showed why it is the king of the sports world, on Thursday night, as the first round of the NFL Draft, on ESPN, nearly doubled up the top NBA game of the night. The Draft collected just over seven million viewers and a 3.0 rating in Adults 18-49. Add in the NFL Network simulcast, and the event had a total audience of 8.8 million viewers and a 3.7 demo.
