Neko Taxi *Takanori Takeyama

The staff who made successful animal films such as Inugoe: Voice of Dog (Inugoe), Nekonade and Mameshiba/Yoju Mameshiba) present this offbeat comedy. The heavenly calico cat Meesuke gives an excellent performance for director Kamei Toru. Masegaki (Cunning Takeyama) is a poorly performing taxi driver because of his inability to get along with people and, by chance, adopts a stray cat. His reputation and his business improve after he starts driving with the cat. Just then, the animal shelter tells him to "Stop."
