I do tend to bash Showtime, regularly, for producing series that, nearly no one watches, but continuing to renew series that no one watches. NURSE JACKI may be the epidemy of this programming direction. For the last six seasons, the series failed to average even one million viewers per episode. I know ratings don't drive Showtime's success, but you still need to program shows that subscribers to the service want to watch.
