
CBS continues to hold back original episodes of its series, but that has not held back CBS from generating winning ratings. Tuesday, CBS preempted two hours of its line up for the annual SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS special, which generated 11.4 million viewers and a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is better than last year's show, in total viewers, but down a tenth in the demo. At 10 PM, the networked capped the night with an encore of NCIS, which placed second in the hour.
