"Roma Downey and LightWorkers Media, the faith and family division of MGM, have acquired rights to New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury’s The Baxter Family novel series for television."

No word, yet, on which network will carry this series, or who will star, but it's encouraging to hear a new family-friendly program is being made for television!!!

 

Also, many of you will remember Karen Kingsbury's The Bridge Part 1 premiered on the Hallmark Channel this passed December, 2015 and due to viewers request... the Second Part to this story will premiere on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel in March, 2016.

Roma Downey (of Touched by an Angel, Come Dance at My Wedding, etc...) and her husband Mark Burnett are well known for producing The Bible mini-series (History Channel), and the A.D. TV Series.
