Primetime Cable Ratings: April 4, 2016

The Men's NCAA Basketball Championship game did not disappoint fans with a last second buzzer-beater to win the game for Villanova. The ratings for the game was also a winner. Between TBS, TNT and TruTV, the game attracted 17.8 million viewers and a combined 5.9 rating in Adults 18-49. TBS drew the bulk of those viewers, grabbing 13.9 million viewers and a 4.5 demo rating. Compared to last year's game, on CBS, cable coverage can't compete. The game was down 10.5 million viewers and off by 35% in the A18-49 demographic.
