US Box Office Results: June 23 - 25, 2017

The fifth TRANSFORMERS Movie could very well be the last one of the franchise, as THE LAST KNIGHT brought in just $45.3 million in, its first weekend of release. It brought in $55 million less than the previous movie, in 2014, and $25 million less than the first movie, out tear years ago. The movie will fall far short of its $217 production budget, as it will struggle to bring in $125 million, domestically. If a sixth movie is ever made, it will be on the strength of the international markets, which is approaching $200 million in receipts.
