The 2017 summer season comes to a close on the cable chart, with football taking three of the top six spots, lead by Monday night Football and its 12.3 million viewers and 4.3 rating in Adults 18-49. Thursday Night Football, exclusively on the NFL Network drew 7.4 million viewers, for the #2 spot of the week. College football, on ESPN, was #6 with its MSU vs Georgia college game, bringing in 2.8 million viewers.
