Preliminary Ratings: Monday 05/23/2016

ABC edged out NBC to win Monday night, thanks to a solid performance from DANCING WITH THE STARS and the season premiere of THE BACHELORETTE. DWTS kicked of the night beating THE VOICE in total viewership and in the A18-34 demographic. DWTS was up across the board, week-to-week, and posted its best numbers in six weeks. THE BACHELORETTE was the #1 show of the night in the two younger demographics, topping THE VOICE in the A18-49 demo and dominating in the A18-34 demo. Compared to last year's premiere, THE BACHELORETTE is  nearly flat, losing just a couple 100k in total viewership.
