Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 11/02/2016

The game lived up to the hype, as game 7 of the 2016 World Series dominated, crushed it, in the ratings. Over 39 million people watch the finale baseball game of the 2016 season and saw the Chicago Cubs end a 108 year title drought. If you missed this instant classic ball game, then you probably are well rested, as the game went 10-innings, had a short rain delay and ended near 1:00 AM, eastern time. The early number show this is the most watched World Series game in 15 years, when the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the NY Yankees in game seven, with 39.08 million viewers. If the final numbers are higher, you'll have to go back to 1991 to find more viewers for a single World Series game, when the Braves/Twins drew over 40 million  for game six and 51 million for game seven.
