The NFL played its first game since the Super Bowl, in February, and 7.8 million viewers were hungry enough to watch third and fourth string players face off in Canton, Ohio. The game did decent demographic ratings, in the mid-ones, in the A18-34 age group and mid-twos in the A18-49 group. We can compare ratings to last year, as no game was played due to poor field conditions (mid-field logo paint issues). But, in
2015, the game drew 10.2 million viewers and posted a 3.6 demo rating.
