Primetime Cable Ratings: August 20, 2018

The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards were on eight networks, with a  combined audience of 4.9 million viewers and an A18-49 demographic rating of 2.3, making it the top program of the night. MTV was the most watched network for the event, with 2.3 million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating.
